End of my 04 Triumph Daytona
So beginning riding season '09, my girl's bike wasn't ready, so she took mine. On her way home, car in front of her swerved and slid on gravel. Turns out there was a deep pothole that took the tires off the car, and to avoid ramming into the car, she had to let the bike go. She was leading a few others, so she did save a few more from that pothole!
State Farm paid out $5000 for it. Bought an 03 R1, which got stolen 6 days after I bought it, got $5500 for it, and went and picked up another 03 R1 from Grand Rapids and rode it back. Beautiful ride.

Actually my insurance said they were doing that cause the damn pothole was in the middle of a main street...And for some reason there was gravel all around!

LOL! I tried to see if the ins would give me the money, and I come up with the rest to get it repaired! But I guess IL has some law where they don't let you do that if its a vehicle newer than some year! Triumph quoted me bout $4500! Ironically I ended up getting more than that from the ins for it.
Love Triumph's, but there's only 3 dealers in Chicago, which makes it pretty cumbersome for any repairs!
